Thankful hearts

Lots and Lots of smiles!

I can't believe how fast November has come and gone. We have been so thankful this last month. Here are some of the events that have gone on in our family.

Logan had a follow-up neurology appt. We received the results back from the EEG. He didn't have any seizures, and hasn't had any at home. We are so excited about this and couldn't have heard anything better than that. Dr. Narawong told us we can take him off of his seizure medicine. YEAH!!! It only takes 8 weeks to do that. We are almost half way done with the taper off of Phenobarbital. I bet Logan is excited too. We are so thankful for this blessing.

Caden received an award in his elementary's character counts assembly. He was one of two kids that received the trustworthy award for kindergarten. We are so proud of you Caden. Here is a video of him getting his award for his dad and grandparents to see since they couldn't be here for it. Not such a great picture above, but it's the only one. He didn't want to pose in front of everyone he said even though the assembly was over, but at least we got one.

We had some fun family home evenings. Caden and Austin's favorite part is the activity and treat of course. We made turkeys.

Jason was the judge. Caden's turkey won 1st place. (Very impressive) He did it all on his own.

Austin has been busy with swimming lessons 3 days a week. He goes to swim and gym at the YMCA 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours. The last 30 min. are swimming lessons. He loves it. Both of the boys take another lesson one night a week also. We will be ready to spend the summer in Utah with the cousins.

Another exciting event is that Logan went to church for the first time. He did so well, and didn't make a peep the entire time. He is such a good baby. We are thankful for all that we have been blessed with.

The Boys on Halloween

Logan stayed in with dad for his 1st Halloween.
Begger's night
Superman and Mr. Incredible

Logan's 5 weeks old

Today we spent at the hospital having another EEG done on Logan.
We will find out the results on Friday at the Neurologist's office. He did really well. They measured and marked his sweet little bald head with a red marker. Then, they applied 25 electrodes to his head with skin adhesive, some sort of paste, the electrode, and then finally taped each one down. It was an hour before they started the test, then the test ran for an hour. Here are some pictures of some of the steps. Jason wanted to make sure I got a picture of him in his straight jacket. He did so well to have to go through it again.
